The Parkway Center boasts a full fitness center, a gymnasium, and a variety of classes that will help you to stay fit, healthy, and active.

Monday: 6:00 am – 7:00 pm
Tuesday – Friday: 6:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
The Fitness Center at the Parkway has a variety of workout equipment to suit your needs. This equipment includes: treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, weightlifting machines, a rowing machine, and some free weights.

Members can walk in the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30-8:45 am. When the weather is good we invite you to take a walk through the paths outside the Parkway; you can walk through our lovely gardens and up the Memorial Parkway it’s a beautiful walk.

This class is a full-body workout: cardio, strength training, flexibility, and balance/coordination in one hour! In this class you will alternate episodes of aerobics with 2 minute segments of strength training. In the last 15 minutes you will focus on stomach toning, flexibility, and balance/coordination. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and sneakers.

Strength training has been shown to reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions such as: arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease, obesity, and back pain, You may wear any comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and sneakers are highly encouraged. You have the choice of chair exercises only OR you can stay after the chair exercises finish for additional floor exercises on the mats.
