Wednesday, September 11, 2013 the MVRVC, Parkway Senior Center, City of Utica, Genesis Group and the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area are hosting the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Events of the day include the annual Prayer Breakfast hosted by the Genesis Group, Remembrance Ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial and a Volunteer Service Project at the MVRVC sponsor agency Parkway Senior Center.
What can you do to participate in the event?
Volunteers are needed to:
Assist with unloading donations
Sort and package donations
Load donations for delivery
Service Project begins at 11 am
Volunteers should report at 10:30 am to register for the day

Donate non-perishable food items and personal care items

The National Day of Service and Remembrance Service Project benefits the veteran’s served at the CNY Veteran’s Outreach Center.
